Job Summary

WEAU 13 News is looking for a dynamic morning anchor.

Responsibilities

• Anchor daily newscasts as well as cut-ins.
• Develop sources and stories within the community.
• Engage viewers on air, through social media, and in the community.
• Make appearances on behalf of the station.

Qualifications

• Strong writing and information gathering skills, quick thinking, and strong ad-lib abilities.
• College degree in a related field, good driving record, and commitment to Gray’s drug-free workplace policy.
• Prior anchoring experience preferred; on-air reporting experience required.
• Ability to anchor every type of story, willingness to book and conduct live in-studio interviews, help produce and edit if needed, and occasionally report in the field.
