Overview

This hybrid role requires in-office presence Tuesday–Thursday each week. The candidate must be located in or near Charlotte, NC, or plan to relocate. This position does not offer visa sponsorship. We’re seeking a Content Designer to shape the voice and tone of user experiences and marketing communications at LendingTree. You will collaborate with visual/UI designers, product managers, marketing channel leads, engineers and compliance teams to create content that resonates with users while following industry standards and best practices. Your contributions will help improve user experience, engagement and understanding, supporting the success of our products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Craft clear, concise, and user-friendly content for customer acquisition experiences
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design engaging and intuitive user experiences, ensuring content aligns with tone, user needs, product goals, and regulatory requirements
  • Write emails, landing pages, display ads, video scripts, advertorials and other marketing materials
  • Work closely with product and visual designers in Figma
  • Participate in the product discovery process to identify content needs and contribute to content creation that enhances user experience
  • Engage in user research and usability testing to understand user responses to content, iterating based on feedback to improve clarity and engagement
  • Understand business priorities together with user needs to create impactful experiences
  • Maintain a consistent tone of voice for the LendingTree brand and adhere to copy guidelines
  • Participate in review sessions, offering constructive feedback to peers and effectively presenting projects to design and content teams
  • Problem solve and ideate to contribute to customer experiences

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Has 3+ years of professional writing experience, including product and marketing
  • Has a strong portfolio that demonstrates diverse UX content design skills and marketing writing ability
  • Has strong product writing experience and experience collaborating with designers in Figma
  • Has excellent interpersonal skills and experience working cross-functionally – able to collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Design peers
  • Can understand business objectives and proactively contribute ideas
  • Can work in a fast-paced team environment and juggle multiple projects at once
  • Incorporates feedback from a diverse set of stakeholders with professionalism and flexibility and prioritizes a collaborative design process
  • Is detail-oriented and organized
  • Has experience writing for financial brands (a plus)

Professional Knowledge

  • Customer research and interview experience
  • Ability to map out user flows
  • Experience in Figma required
  • Experience working with Compliance and Development teams
  • Knowledge of accessibility rules and principles (a plus)
