The TTI Communications team, composed of 30 skilled professionals, offers a wide range of services to support researchers, project proposals, campaigns, and active research initiatives. We specialize in creating high-quality marketing and technical deliverables, including websites, brochures, guidebooks, manuals, interactive presentations, videos, and social media content or campaigns. What you need to know
This position has the flexibility of a hybrid remote option with two days in the TTI Headquarters building at RELLIS campus in Bryan, TX. This can be discussed further during the interview process.
The salary range for position is commensurate. Final salary will be determined based on the applicant's qualifications and experience.
Job Responsibilities
Photography: Plan and coordinate photo shoots, including location scouting, determining lighting, background and equipment. Work with graphic designers and creative director to develop concepts. Photo assignments may include special event coverage, documentation of research, lab sessions, conferences, studio portraits, and still life compositions. (Approximately 50% of duties)
Archive and Maintain Photo Database: Archive and document photos, download images, transfer files to the TTI Photoshelter database, document shoot details, apply keywords, and make digital adjustments in Adobe Photoshop. Respond to client requests for file retrieval and searches. (Approximately 25%)
Project Coordination: Manage workflow, scheduling, provide regular progress reports to supervisors, and enter work orders with time tracking. (Approximately 10%)
External Shoots: Conduct shoots for other system clients as requested. (Approximately 5%)
Videography: Provide back-up to video staff as needed. (Approximately 5%)
Other duties as assigned. (Approximately 5%)
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s or equivalent combination of training and experience.
2 years related work experience in commercial, news, or industrial photography.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong organizational skills, effective oral communication and writing abilities, and a positive public relations attitude. Willingness to assume additional responsibilities. Punctual, reliable, attentive to detail, and committed to excellence. Ability to work with others and independently with minimal instruction. Multi-tasking and cooperative work style.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience communicating with a wide variety of people face to face and over the phone.
5-10 years of photography experience across multiple scenarios (portraits, events, technical labs, social media).
Video shooting and editing skills
Marketing and communications strategy experience
Experience as an independent photographer or supervisor
Physical Requirements
Ability to perform common office functions.
Ability to frequently communicate with others in the workplace.
Ability to operate a computer and other office productivity equipment.
Ability to travel for assignments.
