Overview

TELUS Digital is looking for Navajo language Annotators for a Writing and Annotation project.

Tasks

• Writing Task: You will be shown a text (i.e., the starting of a paragraph or context). You need to complete the paragraph with 50-100 words.
• Annotation Task: You will be shown texts in Navajo corresponding to a writing assistant’s output based on a user’s transcription. The output should organize the transcription into a well‑structured document. You will judge each text based on: (1) linguistic acceptability, (2) quality of the output with respect to the feature, (3) hallucinations, and (4) overall quality.

Workload and Time

Workload: Up to 25 hours to complete all sentences available. Estimated time to complete the task: up to 25 hours (10–12 hours per week).

Compensation

Rate: 34 USD per hour

Requirements

• Native speaker of Navajo
• Currently located in the US
• Pass the English Fluency Test and the Navajo Fluency Test
• Experience in writing, annotation or similar tasks is a plus
• Over 18 years old
• Access to a computer (desktop/laptop) and stable Internet connection
