Job Overview:
As a Substation Designer, you will execute detailed design work, including the preparation of drawings, specifications, and estimates under the supervision of a responsible engineer. You will contribute to projects of various complexities, leading designers and technicians when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop technical expertise in one or more of the following areas:
   1. Electrical Engineering
   2. Instrumentation and Control
   3. Protective Relaying
   4. Substation Design
   5. Mechanical Engineering
   6. CADD
2. Independently perform a range of design duties, including:
   1. Creating high-quality design and construction drawings.
   2. Interpreting drawings, specifications, and industry standards related to assigned work.
   3. Contributing to cost estimates, specifications, evaluations, and requisitions.
   4. Assisting in engineering calculations.
   5. Coordinating equipment deliveries and project design development to adhere to schedules.
   6. Participating in site visits while following all safety protocols.
3. Potentially serve as a Project Coordinator for specific projects.
4. Carry out additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
Applicants should possess an Associate Degree, with 0 - 4 years of relevant experience in Design or Drafting. Demonstrated leadership and technical skills are essential. Proficiency in drafting, especially with CADD, is required. Candidates must complete the PDE Qualification-General template.

Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $29.00 - $33.00 per hour. Compensation may vary based on experience, education, skills, location, and other relevant factors. Additionally, you may be eligible for the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program based on performance metrics.
