Design Assistant Job at Mad Engine Global LLC in Glendale

We’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and highly motivated Design Assistant to join our design team. If you’re passionate about fashion, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and want hands-on experience in the fashion development process from sketch to sample, this opportunity is for you!

What You’ll Do:

* Provide general administrative support, including showroom prep and maintaining department organization

* Manage incoming and outgoing packages, including sample tracking and coordination

* Assist in prepping our seasonal sample line by photographing store-bought samples, logging details into Basecamp, and managing store returns.

* Manage fabric swatches, trims, and materials, ensuring accurate records and seasonal libraries. Cut fabric and color chips for seasonal meetings.

* Help create line sheets in Miro, as well as CADs and presentation decks

* Create technical sketches, CADs, and line sheets using Adobe Illustrator

* Prepare tech packs

• Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Degree in Fashion Design or related field
• 2 - 4 years of experience in a design or brand (internships included)
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Familiarity with garment construction, fabrics, and technical specifications
• A collaborative attitude
• The role is 5 days in the office, Hours 8 am to 5 pm
