Position Description

Position Title:            Graphic Designer / Production artist

Department:              Marketing

Reports To:                Office Manager

Status:                        Salaried, Non-exempt

Summary:

Design, create and prepare visual concepts and production ready art using computer software for consumer products and accessories.

Management reserves the right to add or change any responsibilities at any point in time.

Specific Responsibilities:

1.                   Print and Product Design

·         Work with sales department on design and production of scorecards, yardage books and
hard goods golf products.

2.                  Website Content Management

·         Maintain and update company websites.

3.         Administration

·         Maintain marketing department physical and electronic archives.

·         Assist in delivery of products to local clients

Qualifications:

1.                  Education – minimum of a high school degree, with experience in computer use, Adobe Suite software, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Dreamweaver and html coding.
E-commerce knowledge a plus.

2.                  Experience – a minimum of 2 years of experience in graphic arts, customer support and small project management functions.

3.         Personal – strong communications skills and design orientation, good organization ability, high level producer, positive and outgoing attitude, team orientation, and ability to work independently.   Knowledge of golfing industry a plus.
