Interested in this role You can find all the relevant information in the description below. The Director of CEO Communications is a vital part of the Executive Office and Communications Team. In this role, you will report to the VP of Communications and Public Relations with dotted line access to the CEO, and you will manage the CEO Communications team. You will be responsible for executing strategies to build an audience and advance the voice and ideas of the CEO in the public square, across the movement, and within the organization. Key Responsibilities
Position the CEO as a thought leader and key voice for freedom by identifying strategic opportunities across legal, policy, and cultural trends. Lead and manage the CEO Communications team, ensuring excellence in execution, alignment with strategic priorities, and continuous performance improvement. Oversee the creation of compelling CEO communications, including speeches, presentations, op-eds, social media posts, press materials, and related visual assets. Collaborate with the broader Communications Team to shape and execute the CEO’s voice strategy, aligning messages to inspire both internal and external audiences. Conduct legal research and stay well-versed in ADF cases and policy positions to ensure messaging is informed, accurate, and impactful. Coordinate closely with Legal and Communications teams to review and approve CEO-facing content for legal accuracy and brand alignment. Partner with the CEO Office to manage a centralized database of messaging materials, speech content, media appearances, and supporting resources. Prepare periodic summaries and presentations for the Board of Directors that highlight CEO communications impact and strategic engagement. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in journalism, English, communications, or similar academic discipline, or equivalent experience. 7+ years of managing executive communications. Knowledge of Communications strategy, constitutional law, governments from local and federal levels, and legal terminology. Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including speechwriting and content development, the ability to compose consistently accurate and compelling commentary and other communication materials under tight deadlines. Understanding of ideological, cultural, and legal trends; familiarity with relevant thought leaders and organizations. Preferred Qualifications

The salary range for this position is $104,974—$167,959 USD.
