Media Production Animator Role

Requirements

• Strong Houdini animation production skills.
• Experience with node-based compositing software, Nuke is preferred.
• Practical knowledge and experience with a professional animation pipeline.
• Experience utilizing basic business and creative software (e.g., Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel, and Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, and Illustrator).
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills.
• Sketch and or drawing skills a plus.
• A strong interest in storytelling.
• Good time management, organizational skills, and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Willingness to learn and keep current with new trends, software, and techniques.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple deliverables
• Portfolio of work showcasing the applicants breadth of animation, compositing and data visualization capabilities.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance. US Citizenship is a prerequisite.
• Bachelors degree from accredited institution with 6+ years minimum of related professional experience - OR - a Masters degree with 4+ years of related professional experience. An additional 4 years of experience accepted in lieu of a degree.

• Bachelors degree from accredited institution with 10+ years minimum of related professional experience - OR - a Masters degree with 8+ years of related professional experience. An additional 4 years of experience accepted in lieu of a degree.
