Sapochetti Brands is hiring: Photographer / Videographer in Fairfield

Hub7 Creation, part of Sap Brands, is hiring Contract Photographer’s and Videographer’s to work events in the Greater Fairfield area.

Hub7 Creation is a content creation firm specializing in design, production and social media management in the fields of sports, gaming, entertainment and commerce, among others. While many of our contracts come from businesses, we also strive to use our time and talent to benefit individuals and nonprofits in our communities nationally.

The primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Working at client events in accordance with company standards
• Maintaining professional decorum at all times, while representing the company well
• Using camera equipment to record photo/video/audio where opportunities arise
• In some cases, approaching guests and respectfully asking to take photo/video/audio
• Some minor editing and administrative tasks where necessary

The successful candidate will align with our mission and meet some or all of the qualifications below:

• Minimum two years of professional experience, or three years in a educational/volunteer setting
• Knowledge about using camera equipment effectively
• Ability to work events in the Connecticut South Region, in-person
• Note, most events occur on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights
• EditorX, Final Cut or other editing software experience is a plus
• Positive attitude and ability to engage well with others is a must

The compensation range for this position is $25.00 to $29.00 per hour, if using company equipment. For candidates who have their own professional, eligible equipment for work use, pay rates will increase by $10.00 – $12.00 per hour. Compensation is always determined based on candidate value and business needs. Travel expenses will also be reimbursed when outside of the regional service area.

The role is contract based, with 1099 contractor status. Hours will be based on available events and business needs.
