Adjunct Faculty - Communication Studies & Theater. Part-time adjunct teaching positions in credit programs at Blue Ridge Community College (BRCC). BRCC is building a pool of potential applicants for this discipline; there may or may not be positions currently available. Current opportunities may include teaching one or more classes of a basic first year communication course focusing on public speaking and presentation, as well as interpersonal and intercultural communication.

Responsibilities

• Teach one or more classes in communication studies and/or theater per assignment.
• Possibly participate in special assignments and other duties as assigned.
• May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree is required, with at least 18 graduate credit hours in the specific discipline.
