Role The Marketing Content Coordinator is responsible for supporting the development, execution, and management of content-driven marketing initiatives across digital and traditional platforms. This role helps maintain a consistent brand voice, increases audience engagement, and supports lead generation and brand awareness goals through strategic content planning and execution. This role also heavily supports other internal teams with their communication efforts and needs.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Write, edit, and proofread engaging content for website pages, blog posts, social media, and newsletters
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop content aligned with brand messaging and marketing objectives
  • Maintain a content calendar for consistent and timely content distribution
  • Assist in executing digital marketing campaigns including social media and SEO content strategies
  • Optimize content for SEO and user engagement using tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, or Yoast
  • Coordinate with design team to develop visuals for digital campaigns, blog content, and social posts
  • Draft and schedule posts on LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
  • Monitor engagement and respond to comments and messages where appropriate
  • Analyze performance metrics and adjust strategies to improve reach and engagement
  • Ensure consistent messaging and tone across all marketing communications
  • Assist in internal communications, partner communications, and event promotion materials
  • Manage timelines and deliverables for content-related projects and campaigns
  • Coordinate with external vendors or freelancers as needed
  • Track and report on content and campaign performance metrics

Experience, Skills & Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Advertising, or Public Relations
  • 1-3 years of experience in marketing, social media or graphic design for advertising or PR agency or other large company with multiple concurrent projects
  • Self-starter with initiative and the ability to bring fresh ideas and get things done
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work cooperatively with staff
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Highly organized and responsible
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail
  • Time management and high energy

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or Canva
  • Knowledge of analytics and reporting tools like Google Analytics, HubSpot, or platform insights
  • Knowledge of social scheduling tools like SproutSocial or Hootsuite
  • Video editing or vlogging experience is a plus
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and collaborative attitude

  • Growing library of organized, high-quality, on-brand content that supports lead generation and customer engagement
  • Strong content performance metrics (CTR, open rates, engagement)
  • Positive feedback from internal stakeholders on communication and campaign support
  • Streamlined content creation workflows and editorial calendar maintained at least 60 days in advance
