Job Description

- Starting Hourly Pay: $20.85 with multiple pay increases
- Shift differential pay for 2nd & 3rd shift
- Longevity increases start at your fifth year
- Overtime opportunities

- Potential for up to $4,000 in referral bonuses
WORK SCHEDULE
Week 1: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Week 2: Monday, Friday, Saturday: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Monitors all radio activity & operates police/ Ohio Veterans Home radio system
- Dispatches medical transportation drivers
- Logs all emergency/dispatch calls
- Calls emergency pages
- Answers agency switchboard
- Answers all emergency phones & general police
- Takes messages for police & safety personnel
- Serves as access control checkpoint at Police Department front counter
- Monitors all systems at OVH Police Department Central Monitoring Console area
- Monitors state Multi-Agency Radio Communications
- Monitors roam alert system
- Monitors after-hours call-offs
- Takes requests for agency ID badges & parking permits
- Issues completed ID badges to customers
Qualifications
Formal education that includes reading, writing & speaking English.
