Overview

Ashley, the #1 Mattress and Furniture retailer in North America, has an immediate opening for a Visual Presentation Manager. The ideal candidate is responsible for creating and maintaining an environment that draws attention to the floor plan and the furniture to maximize product sales. The Visual Presentation Manager oversees the overall store environment, including displays and vignettes, product receiving, replenishment, rotation, and store cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure that all merchandise is on the sales floor and displayed according to the merchandising plan developed by corporate.
• Manage and train operational duties: accessory receiving, informational POP tagging and promotional POP execution, placement of price tags and spotlight placement.
• Ensure all merchandise (new and clearance) is priced correctly and update prices in a timely manner as needed.
• Maintain store floor plan to match AutoCAD produced by corporate.
• Partner with Category Business Managers on transferring/flooring orphan product.
• Audit IOWN form and input data.
• Use color coordination, visual balance, and interior design knowledge to develop attractive displays and maintain showroom standards.
• Collaborate with RVPM on creative elements within the store environment, including painting and interior design elements.
• Ensure floor merchandise condition is maintained to showroom quality and reorder/replace non-clearance items as needed.
• Keep store warehouse organized and free of clutter; oversee cleaning of front entrance, restrooms, and backrooms as needed.
• Foster clear communication within the organization and with superiors; hire, develop, and manage Floor Support; participate in Inventory Audit twice a year.
• Monitor consistency and execution of visual presentation directives, signage, and merchandising standards; reinforce standards and participate in monthly design challenges.
• Satisfactory driving record is required; undertake other duties as assigned by Manager.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• High School/GED; Bachelor’s degree in interior design or business preferred.
• 3 years of experience in retail home furnishings or interior design.
• Project management, communication proficiency, ethical conduct, time management, attendance and punctuality.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary: $19.44 hourly plus monthly bonuses. On-demand pay available.
