The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform connects tutors with thousands of students online. As a tutor on the Varsity Tutors Platform, you’ll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make an impact on students’ learning journeys—from the comfort of your home.

Base pay range

$18.00/hr - $40.00/hr

Responsibilities

• Tutor remotely using our Live Learning Platform and deliver personalized instruction in Writing.
• Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like.
• Get matched with students best-suited to your teaching style and expertise.
• Leverage the AI-powered Tutor Copilot to enhance sessions with real-time support, lesson generation, and engagement features.
• Invoice for tutoring sessions; we handle payments and you’ll be paid up to twice per week.

What we look for in a tutor

• Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
• Expertise in Writing and the ability to explain concepts clearly.
• Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
• Priority given to those with tutoring experience, teaching experience, and graduate-level education.
