• Provide online elementary school writing tutoring to students via the Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform.
• Personalize lessons to fit individual learning styles and goals.
• Assess student progress and adapt instruction to improve writing skills.
• Maintain clear communication with students, parents, and the tutoring platform as needed.
• Set your own schedule and manage tutoring sessions remotely.
• Utilize platform tools and resources to deliver engaging, effective instruction.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
• Expertise in Elementary School Writing with the ability to explain concepts clearly.
• Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
• Preferred: tutoring or teaching experience and graduate-level education.

Compensation and Logistics

• Base contract rates start at $18/hour and may increase for specialized subjects; pay can reach up to $40/hour based on sessions with the same student.
• Get paid up to twice per week for tutoring sessions conducted and invoiced.
• Set your own hours and tutor remotely—no commuting required.
• AI-powered Tutor Copilot enhances sessions with real-time support, lesson generation, and engagement features.
• We handle logistics; you invoice for sessions and we process payments.
