Associate Producer, Experiential Marketing Small Girls PR is looking for an Associate Producer to support the Experiential service line. You’ll help us grow SGPR’s reputation as the go-to agency for exciting and out-of-the-box experiential production. This role will support production from concept to client sell-in, pre-production, and onsite production.
At SGPR, experiential casts a wide net. Events, press and influencer trips, mailers, consumer hotlines, and brand partnerships are just some of the ideas that you will help us bring off the page and into the real world. While we focus on events and mailers, anything that the SGPR team can dream, the experiential department can find a way to build.
Note: This role can be based in either our NYC or LA office, working two days a week in the office on a hybrid schedule.
How you’ll make an impact:
Work collaboratively on experiential production with internal press and influencer marketing teams
Produce programs for clients across multiple verticals, primarily focusing on beauty clients, but also may include fashion, hospitality, tech, food & beverage, retail, and more
Manage small production programs independently, including client management; concept and design; briefing and overseeing designers and art directors; budget management and financial processes; timeline development and management; vendor sourcing, hiring, and management
Work with senior level colleagues to contribute to large scale productions with tasks such as concepting onsite activations, vendor sourcing, permitting, etc.
Furnish original, thoughtful experiential concepts that successfully ladder back to client and agency goals. Develop ideas, decor, and fabrication that results in shareable moments and lasting memories
Role includes responsibilities for visuals and design for pitches and activation decks. AI tools are welcome. 3D rendering ability is a plus
Facilitate and contribute to business development by supporting colleagues in cross-selling experiential work to existing clients, reviewing ideas from colleagues, advising on feasibility, joining brainstorms, developing ideas, building client decks, and presenting to clients
Pitch new business opportunities, including fielding introductory calls, developing proposals, and presenting to prospects
Develop an understanding of the agency’s various service lines to implement integrated ways of working and strengthen strategic recommendations to clients

You have 2+ years of experiential production experience and are skilled at overseeing and producing events with budgets of $50k, and you are adept at working with finance teams
You understand what makes an experience enticing, shareable, and memorable
You stay ahead of trends, communities, partnerships, and events, and can connect emerging concepts to client initiatives
You collaborate with peers to develop integrated programs
You communicate professionally with clients and can drive and contribute at client meetings, with experience in strategy, event logistics, budgets, and more
You create decks that effectively communicate original event ideas, independently create floor plans and design mockups, and can develop visuals and moodboards to communicate your vision
You have a track record of managing multiple projects, are detail-oriented, and able to adapt to changing client priorities
You can travel for site visits and event days as needed, sometimes outside normal business hours
You maintain a list of preferred vendors, venues, and freelancers for different project types
You’re willing to get hands dirty to ensure event success, including lifting and moving objects up to 50lbs
You are comfortable with setup, strike logistics, and overnight installs
Having a driver’s license is a plus due to potential local transportation responsibilities
