WAE- State Reporter
Job Summary:
The State Reporting Support Specialist shall assist the SIS and Data Coordinator in ensuring all student information is accurately prepared, validated, and submitted to the Louisiana Department of Education (LDOE). The specialist will focus on resolving data errors in PowerSchool, supporting compliance with state requirements, and maintaining timely, accurate reporting for audits and accountability.
Job Responsibilities:
60%--Support the SIS and Data Coordinator with all aspects of state reporting through PowerSchool, including validation and submission of student data to the Louisiana Department of Education.
Troubleshoot and resolve data errors in PowerSchool related to attendance, scheduling, enrollment, demographics, and other state-reportable fields.
Monitor the accuracy of scheduled reports, audits, and submissions, ensuring deadlines are met.
30%--Assist with testing and validating report templates to ensure outputs align with LDOE specifications.
Maintain organized records of submissions, error logs, and correction workflows for compliance and audit readiness.
Collaborate with school staff to correct inaccurate or incomplete student data that impacts state reporting.
10%--Stay informed of updates from PowerSchool, LDOE, and the SIS and Data Coordinator regarding changes in reporting requirements and compliance expectations.
Provide support during submission cycles, including preparing, running, and validating reports.
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
