Overview
This position is based on our campus in Madison, WI, and requires relocation to the area. We recruit nationally and provide financial relocation assistance.
Epic seeks a UX Designer to act as the lead experience and visual designer for several development teams, setting the direction for joyful design. You will meet with end-users to understand their needs, research workflows, and observe applications in use. You will work with developers to design intuitive, beautiful applications with sound information architecture, showing your ideas through sketches, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes.

Responsibilities
- Lead experience and visual design for multiple development teams.
- Engage with end-users to establish needs and analyze workflows.
- Collaborate with developers to create intuitive applications with strong information architecture.
- Create and present design concepts at various fidelity levels (sketches, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, interactive prototypes).
Qualifications
- A solid portfolio demonstrating strong user experience and visual design skills
- Education or experience in user-centered design techniques
- Bachelor’s degree or greater
- Relocation to the Madison, WI area (reimbursed)
- Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
- COVID-19 vaccination
- Available to start before June 2026
