CoStar Group Company Intro: CoStar Group (NASDAQ: CSGP) is a leading global provider of commercial and residential real estate information, analytics, and online marketplaces. Included in the S&P 500 Index and the NASDAQ 100, CoStar Group is on a mission to digitize the world’s real estate, empowering all people to discover properties, insights and connections that improve their businesses and lives.

We have been living and breathing the world of real estate information and online marketplaces for over 35 years, giving us the perspective to create truly unique and valuable offerings to our customers. We’ve continually refined, transformed and perfected our approach to our business, creating a language that has become standard in our industry, for our customers, and even our competitors.

Job Description

We’re seeking a designer with a commercial mindset who understands the impact high-quality visuals can have on the effectiveness of a sales pitch or all-hands presentation. LoopNet is the world’s biggest, busiest commercial real estate marketplace.

In a typical month, our sales team spends thousands of hours meeting with and presenting to customers and prospects. Every meeting is an opportunity to leave a lasting impression and help our business grow—but only if the materials and talk track work in perfect harmony. That’s where you come in.

You’ll work in close collaboration with our sales enablement marketing team, as well as sales stakeholders, to develop and refine materials that support highly effective sales pitches. In addition, you’ll also apply your design skills to create materials for flagship events like our annual sales conference, internal communications moments like staff all-hands, as well as materials like staff communications and management reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Working with partners in sales enablement, marketing and sales to understand the materials required, and their business purpose
  • Working in PowerPoint, Figma and other design packages to create materials in response to these requirements
  • Creating templates and custom/bespoke materials to support external and internal presentations
  • Develop and maintain a library of visual assets and components for use in different materials
  • Liaise with marketing and sales stakeholders to understand the measures and metrics that define a piece of material’s effectiveness
  • Creating supporting collateral for use by sales representatives, including print and digital materials, leave-behinds, merchandise, etc
  • Working with senior executives on internal communication material briefs – delivering the materials on time and to specification
  • Collaborating with our Creative Director, Brand Director and other stakeholders in the marketing department to ensure cohesion and consistency across touchpoints

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required from an accredited, not-for-profit college or university
  • A track record of commitment to prior employers
  • 2 or more years of relevant experience creating pitch materials and/or sales enablement materials, either in-house or at an advertising agency
  • Prior graphic design experience, including a portfolio of relevant projects completed
  • Strong working knowledge of PowerPoint and other presentation tools (e.g. Keynote)
  • Prior usage of project management tools like Asana a plus
  • Great organizational skills and an intuitive understanding of how to prioritize tasks and get stuff done quickly and productively
  • Excellent communication skills, including a high degree of comfort speaking up and asking questions to ensure the brief is clear and work can proceed at a fast pace
  • High attention to detail
  • Design tool proficiency (Adobe Suite, Figma)
  • Comfortable with feedback – proud of the work and motivated to deliver a good result, but doesn’t take constructive feedback personally
  • Professional and collaborative, with the ability to effectively interact with teammates and stakeholders at all levels of seniority
  • A multi-tasker who is comfortable working at pace, with deadlines, and juggling projects simultaneously
  • A great design eye and appreciation for the aesthetic
  • Solid grasp of the core principles of data visualization – demonstrates clear thinking and empathy with the audience when it comes to communicating data visually

We require applicants to provide a portfolio of relevant work for review as part of the application process for the post.
