Overall Objective

We’re looking for a meticulous, detail-driven Production Artist who thrives on accuracy and consistency. The ideal candidate is a skilled designer who brings creative layouts to life with technical precision—ensuring every piece meets specifications, brand standards, and deadlines. A Production Artist at this agency is not only a production specialist but also a design thinker who values craft, consistency, and efficiency. Working in tandem with other creative staff members such as Copywriters, Web Designers, Studio editors, and Graphic Designers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, refine, and execute production-ready files for all projects with accuracy and speed.
• Translate creative concepts into precise, well-designed deliverables that meet brand standards.
• Proof every project to ensure flawless execution: spelling, layout, image accuracy, and compliance with provided instructions.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers, and Creative Directors to deliver projects on time.
• Ensure that mechanical specs are accurately applied.
• Maintain file servers and computers in proper order
• Stay current with software tools and enhance skills in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat).
• Contribute to process improvements that increase speed, quality, and consistency across projects.
• Assure that proprietary and other sensitive information is handled with utmost confidentiality

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and/or 3+ years of professional production art experience.
• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat on Mac OSX.
• Strong portfolio showcasing production accuracy, retouching ability, and design execution across print and digital formats.
• In-depth understanding of file formats (TIF, EPS, JPG, PNG, GIF, PDF) and their correct use.
• Expert knowledge of color management and production standards, including bleed/live/trim, file exporting, and color conversions as well as meta platforms.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills; collaborative team player with a solutions-focused mindset.
• High level of initiative, accuracy, and attention to detail in every aspect of production.
• Highly motivated and a high level of initiative; ability to work independently, to support the agency’s creative goals and the client’s business objectives.
