About The Role

We're Looking for Freelance Creatives!

We’re building a freelance roster of creative talent—Creative Strategists, Senior Creative Strategists, and Associate Creative Directors—to collaborate with us on a project-by-project basis.

Every freelance engagement will have a defined scope of work and timeline, ensuring clarity on deliverables from the start. This is not an offer of employment: all freelancers must operate as an independent business entity (LLC, S-Corp, or equivalent) and are responsible for their own business operations, including taxes, benefits, and insurance. While you’ll collaborate closely with our team, you’ll retain control over your own process and ways of working.

What You’ll Do

  • Generate big, bold creative ideas: Develop compelling and innovative campaign concepts, immersing yourself in the content and fandoms we promote. Your ideas will deliver on client briefs and resonate with our audiences, inspiring our teams and bringing fresh perspectives to projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with design, creative, and production teams to develop and execute creative concepts for clients and pitches. Contribute copywriting and strategic storytelling expertise during brainstorming sessions, utilizing agency resources to bring ideas to life
  • Present ideas effectively: Present your ideas in a compelling way to internal audiences and clients, showcasing strong communication and presentation skills. Your ability to articulate your vision and engage stakeholders will be crucial
  • Execute multi-platform content: Develop strategy, content, and copy across multiple platforms. Leverage industry experience to drive projects from concept through delivery, anticipating and solving problems as they arise
  • Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with clients, which includes creative problem solving and obtaining buy-in where necessary.
  • Adapt to evolving responsibilities and take on additional tasks as required

About You

  • Compelling portfolio demonstrating impactful work across prior agency roles
  • Proven track record of generating impactful creative ideas through copywriting, demonstrated through a diverse portfolio of successful campaigns
  • Excellent storytelling and copywriting skills, with a deep understanding of brand voice, tone, and messaging
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and effectively convey ideas to diverse audiences
  • Writing sense with proven conceptual and brainstorming skills
  • A refined sense of aesthetics and design, collaborating effectively with art and design teams to bring ideas to life visually
  • Ability to carry out a concept from start to completion, executing and delegating as needed
  • Strong knowledge of platform/industry/creative trends and digital best practices. Must be able to translate this knowledge to creative executions in an articulate manner
  • Detail-oriented with a strong eye for quality
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and provide clear direction and feedback on copywriting across various mediums
