Job Details

Title: Luxury Fashion and Timepiece Manager

Reports To: General Manager or Assistant General Manager in their absence

Responsibilities

  • Serve guests and promote store and personal sales (40% time allocated).
  • Consistently attainment of sales and performance standards, including special events and store promotions.
  • Promote an environment of total guest satisfaction by prioritizing the guest’s shopping and jewelry needs.
  • Provide an exceptional guest experience by aligning with the guest’s agenda and providing proper follow-up using the Clienteling system.
  • Monitor guest flow and assist with matching the appropriate team member with the guest.
  • Supervise fashion merchandise categories (diamond fashion, gold, and color) and timepiece brands and train all team members on fashion merchandise and timepieces (50% time allocated).
  • Oversee implementation and administration of fashion and timepiece merchandise, including sales performance, promotions, launch executions, visual display, and merchandising; attain knowledge across other merchandise categories.
  • Develop and maintain complete knowledge of all fashion and timepiece merchandise; train team members on features, benefits, warranties, services, and procedures for each brand.
  • Serve as point of contact with vendor partners; ensure completion of vendor trainings, eLearnings, and incentive submissions for the store.
  • Review weekly fashion and timepiece reporting and coordinate with management to develop training plans to improve sales, standards, and guest experience.
  • Collaborate with the Management Team (10% time allocated) on recruiting, hiring, scheduling, performance appraisals, and related information.
  • Communicate with the General Manager about team member information including personnel and security concerns, merchandising needs, etc.
  • Respond to guest complaints and issues in a prompt and courteous manner in partnership with the General Manager.
  • Assist management team with primary responsibilities in their absence.

Other Essential Responsibilities

  • Maintain consistent, regular attendance as an essential function.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including Loss Prevention, Sales and Credit policies; maintain security awareness with selling procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands

Must be able to stand for long periods; reach with hands and arms; move among display cases; handle and feel merchandise; sit, stoop, kneel, and crouch; lift up to 10 pounds; see differences in quality of merchandise.

Work Schedule

  • As required by the store to include evenings and weekends.
  • Three nights per week or as required by the General Manager.
  • Sunday on an alternating basis or as needed.
  • Store hours during special events and peak selling times of the year.

Base pay, $15.75 – $20.10 plus commission on sales. Final pay rate shall be determined and is based on experience and qualifications.
