Overview

AP English Literature and Composition Tutor role on the Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform. As a tutor on the Varsity Tutors Platform, you’ll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make a real impact on students’ learning journeys—from the comfort of your home.

Responsibilities

• Tutor online one-on-one with students, providing personalized instruction in AP English Literature and Composition.
• Use the Live Learning Platform and AI-powered Tutor Copilot to enhance sessions, generate lessons, and engage students.
• Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like; accepted sessions may be on-demand or scheduled.
• Invoice for tutoring sessions; the platform handles payments and logistics.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
• Expertise in AP English Literature and Composition with the ability to explain concepts clearly.
• Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
• Priority given to those with tutoring or teaching experience and graduate-level education.
