POSITION SUMMARY

The Marketing Manager at Threshold Brands plays an integral role in the organization leading the marketing support for all franchisees within a particular Brand along with any company owned stores. This position is focused on the goal of increasing quality leads and brand awareness through the development and implementation of effective marketing strategies and tactics. This is a remote role.

You will develop integrated marketing programs and best practices for the brand and will assist with the planning and implementation of these marketing plans at the local franchise locations. This is a high support role where you will be consulting franchise owners on how to optimize their marketing plans, solving marketing problems and guiding franchisees on implementing our marketing model.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • In collaboration with marketing leadership, assist with managing the annual marketing budget and brand fund.
  • Develop digital, social, email, marketing strategies, of paid, organic, and local nature
  • Implement lead generation campaigns across multiple platforms (email marketing, pr, social)
  • Work with owners to develop local marketing tactics
  • Work with owners to optimize their digital strategy alongside our digital marketing team (SEO, PPC, Social)
  • Analyze advertising performance and implement changes to drive lead flow.
  • Protect the brand by ensuring that all marketing is compliant with the latest brand standards.
  • Enforce the use of the marketing playbook with franchisees.
  • Work with the onboarding coordinator as a marketing point person for new franchisees before, during, and after opening.
  • Train franchise owners on marketing strategy, branding guidelines and building their local marketing plan on budget.
  • Review marketing performance data with franchisees to verify data accuracy and identify opportunities for improving ROI.
  • Host workshops to the franchise community to provide coaching on various marketing topics.
  • Respond to franchisees’ marketing-related questions and offer relevant marketing resources.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Franchise and/or multi-unit experience required
  • Home services experience strongly preferred
  • 5+ years of progressive marketing experience
  • Proactive people person, willing to initiate communication
  • Ability to shift gears, re-prioritize, and accomplish multiple tasks in one day
  • Strong Understanding of Digital Marketing-SEO, PPC, Social, Email and best practices
  • Effective listening, strong verbal/phone and written communications skills
  • Experienced in coaching and advising small business owners
  • Ability to communicate confidently as an expert in your field
  • Easily builds trust and rapport with a natural tendency to provide a high degree of personal support
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; able to handle many accounts at once
