Join to apply for the PRAXIS Music Tutor role at Varsity Tutors, a Nerdy Company. The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform connects tutors with thousands of students nationwide for online PRAXIS Music tutoring. As a tutor, you’ll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make a real impact on students’ learning journeys from home.

Base contract rates start at $18/hour and increase for specialized subjects, with potential pay up to $40/hour for sessions with the same student. You can be paid up to twice per week. Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like. Tutor remotely using our Live Learning Platform. We match you with students suited to your teaching style and expertise. Our AI-powered Tutor Copilot provides real-time instructional support, lesson generation, and engagement features to help save prep time and focus on teaching. We handle the logistics—you invoice for your tutoring sessions and we take care of payments.

What We Look For In a Tutor

• Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
• Expertise in PRAXIS Music with the ability to explain concepts clearly.
• Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
• Priority given to those with tutoring or teaching experience and graduate-level education.
