Job Summary/Description: The Executive News Producer will oversee our morning news coverage, managing 5 hours of daily content and supervising a staff of 11 people. The successful candidate will have sound editorial judgment and excellent managerial and people skills.
- Oversee 5 hours of daily television news content
- Establish and execute the vision and mission for each newscast
- Manage a staff of 11 associates
- Coach and mentor the morning team, including 5 producers
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Journalism or Communications-related degree
- Equivalent military or work experience
- Experience as an accomplished Television News Producer
