Head of Publishing, North America (Unreleased Title)

HoYoverse is seeking an experienced publishing leader to drive the launch and growth of our upcoming unreleased UE5 open-world flagship title in North America.

This role will be at the forefront of shaping our market entry, building the brand, and delivering innovative campaigns that resonate with players across the region. You will partner closely with global teams while building and leading a high-performing U.S. publishing team, ensuring our strategies are locally relevant and globally aligned.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the North America publishing strategy for HoYoverse’s upcoming UE5 open-world flagship title
  • Define go-to-market plans and short-, mid-, and long-term roadmaps informed by player behavior and market trends in North America
  • Partner closely with headquarters and cross-functional teams to ensure publishing priorities align with global product and strategies

Brand Building & Market Growth

  • Develop and execute growth strategies for the North American market based on user insights, with ownership of DAU growth in the region
  • Lead brand positioning for the North American market, maintaining global alignment while reflecting local cultural identity
  • Design and execute cross-media marketing campaigns across film, music, and social platforms, including influencer/KOL/KOC partnerships
  • Drive user acquisition, retention, and re-engagement strategies with innovative approaches beyond traditional paid acquisition
  • Continuously analyze brand and market performance to refine communication and growth strategies

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in publishing games or entertainment products in North America, with end-to-end ownership from pre-launch through live operations
  • Proven success introducing and scaling Asian entertainment or gaming products in the U.S. market
  • Deep understanding of North American player profiles, market dynamics, and industry trends
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on execution skills; capable of building and leading teams from the ground up
  • Expertise in brand development, user growth, and cross-platform partnerships, with a track record of driving innovative campaigns
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable strategies
  • Exceptional cross-cultural communication, influence, and leadership capabilities
  • Results-oriented with a “roll-up-your-sleeves” mentality and adaptability to fast-changing environments

Base pay range: $350,000.00/yr - $850,000.00/yr
