About This Role

Rowan's Piercing Studio Nurse, reporting to the Studio Manager, provides a safe, clean, and joyful ear-piercing experience. Use your nursing skills to perform piercings with care and precision. Nurses are essential for infection control, customer calm, and a memorable piercing experience.

What you’ll do

• Customer Service: Create magical experiences by combining clinical care with a celebratory atmosphere during each piercing session. Ensure safety, comfort, and smooth customer care flow. Communicate professionally with clients throughout their piercing experience. Educate customers on aftercare and promote Rowan's After Care. Conduct ear evaluations to determine the perfect earring placement and offer styling advice. Monitor the customer experience and address issues to maintain clinical piercing standards. Maintain a sterile environment at the nurse station and procedure tray, ensuring surfaces, instruments, and supplies are clean and properly sanitized.
• Studio Support: Collaborate with the Studio Manager to keep operations running smoothly and foster a joyful atmosphere. Be flexible to fill shifts as needed. May mentor and train new nurses to uphold Rowan's Clinical Piercing Standards, including shadowing services and observing interactions. Report issues promptly to management and work with the team to resolve them.
• Inventory and Supplies: Keep piercing stations stocked with necessary supplies and ensure safety and cleanliness of tools and jewelry.
• Studio Operations: Follow state, federal, and CDC guidelines to ensure sanitary and safe piercing experiences.
• Sales: Support studio metrics, including piercing efficiency, revenue growth, and increasing average order value. Educate customers on Rowan After Care and benefits of additional hypoallergenic jewelry for healing.
• Reporting and Communication: Address operational concerns promptly and communicate clearly with management and team members to implement solutions.

What you bring to the table

• Active RN or LPN/LVN license (required).
• Professional and engaging customer care approach.

• Excited to create celebratory, memorable experiences for customers.
• Ability to convey technical and non-technical information effectively.
• Interest in working in a retail environment with sales goals.
• Attention to detail.
• Flexible availability, including holidays and weekends.
• Open to all experience levels; additional training in pediatrics and/or ear piercing is a plus.
• Dedicated to delivering exceptional service and maintaining a safe, clean environment for every customer.
