The Government Services team provides cleared resources with a global reach to federal civilian, Department of Defense (DoD) and intelligence community markets. We excel at delivering innovative, operationally ready, and cost-effective IT solutions that accelerate the interoperability and resiliency of mission critical systems.

This position will create, edit, and manage technical documentation for our customer. Working directly with the customer and various project teams to explain technical concepts in a clear and accessible way. Technical writing may include diagrams, standard operating procedures, training materials, reports, and digital content.

Location: Colorado Springs, CO

Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI Clearance

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Author and edit technical documentation such as user guides, installation manuals, training materials, and service descriptions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., software developers, engineers, product managers) to gather and verify technical information.
  • Ensure content quality and consistency by adhering to style guides, formatting standards, and brand identity requirements.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand language for varied audiences, including government clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage documentation projects, including scheduling, version control, and publishing across platforms.
  • Support compliance and governance by ensuring documentation meets organizational and regulatory standards.
  • Documenting write ups on multiple IT related workstreams onsite
  • Escorting subcontractors on site
  • Reading and understanding SOW’s to understand intent of delivery
  • Producing Assessment & Survey Reports using data & findings from multiple subcontractors
  • Producing professional technical write ups utilizing Prime’s templates
  • Iteratively modifying Assessment & Survey Reports in alignment with government feedback
  • Reporting to Onsite Project Manager status of document production
  • Extremely detail oriented

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree in related field
  • 4+ years relevant experience
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Sec+ Certification preferred
  • Strong proven experience as a Technical Writer
  • Self-starter while being detail oriented and providing strong communication

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $125,000.00 to $140,000.00 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs.
