Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and file customs entries accurately and timely in accordance with U.S. CBP regulations.
• Review import documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, etc.) to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Classify goods according to the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS).
• Communicate with customers, customs brokers, and government agencies to resolve entry-related issues.
• Maintain compliance with all federal import regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Monitor shipments to ensure smooth clearance and delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of all entry filings.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to inquiries and offering guidance on customs regulations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Customs Entry Writer or in a similar customs compliance role.
• CargoWise experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations, HTS classification, and import procedures.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
