The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform connects tutors with students nationwide for online PSAT Writing Skills tutoring. As a tutor on the platform, you’ll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make a meaningful impact on students’ learning journeys—from the comfort of your home.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-on-1 online PSAT Writing Skills tutoring tailored to each student’s needs.
• Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like.
• Leverage the Live Learning Platform for remote tutoring sessions (no commuting).
• Be matched with students whose learning styles align with your expertise.
• Use available tools to prepare and deliver effective lessons and engage students.

What We Look For

• Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
• Expertise in PSAT Writing Skills with the ability to explain concepts clearly.
• Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
• Priority given to candidates with tutoring/teaching experience and graduate-level education.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base contract rates start at $18/hour and can increase for specialized subjects, with potential to reach up to $40/hour.
