About the Role
Purpose of the Position:
The purpose of this position is to manage all aspects of the project, including PPT documentation, purchasing, scheduling, trade relationships, client meetings (specification appointments & presenting budgets), customer service, product warranty, and claims. Confidentiality is crucial. We are committed to your career growth and will conduct both initial and subsequent interviews to ensure a good cultural fit. Estimator (Pre-Construction Phase): Site visit/measure to develop scope of work Perform estimates using blueprints and estimating sheets for residential and light commercial buildings Develop sales contracts with owners, subcontractors, and vendors Communicate effectively with all parties to exceed expectations Approve payables within 24 hours if requested Purchasing (Project Management through Completion): Process orders, coordinate with vendors, designers, and shippers Determine material availability and provide substitutions Order materials, schedule ETAs, and coordinate installation schedules Procure subcontractors and confirm insurance and permits Manage change orders, site visits, punch lists, and customer claims Attend weekly project meetings and stage client materials Frequently lift and carry 25 lbs Design & Sales: Create PowerPoint presentations including floor plans and selections Monitor social media activity Participate in networking events and tours of homes, including weekend shifts and special events Warehouse: Schedule trades for building maintenance Oversee building, grounds, security, and equipment maintenance Obtain forklift certification; offload shipments as needed Requirements
Must pass drug test and background checks. Complete CPP personality profile. Preferred experience includes 5 years in project management or estimating finish materials in construction. Software skills: QuickBooks, PowerPoint, Excel, Word. Extra credit for experience with Chief Architect, CAD, SketchUp, or design software. About the Company
