We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Fire Sprinkler Designer to join our team. This is a unique opportunity for an individual passionate about fire safety and construction design to make a significant impact on our projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, and managing fire protection systems for our construction projects. This position requires an individual with a strong background in fire protection systems design, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for creating safe and secure environments.

Responsibilities:

1. Designing comprehensive fire sprinkler systems for a variety of construction projects, ensuring all designs comply with relevant safety standards and regulations. 2. Collaborating with architects, engineers, and construction teams to integrate fire sprinkler systems into building designs. 3. Reviewing blueprints and specifications to determine the most effective and efficient fire protection systems. 4. Conducting site inspections to ensure fire sprinkler systems are installed correctly and functioning optimally. 5. Providing technical support and guidance to construction teams during the installation of fire sprinkler systems. 6. Utilizing CAD software to create detailed and accurate fire sprinkler system designs. 7. Continually staying updated on new advancements in fire protection technology and incorporating these advancements into designs where appropriate. 8. Performing hydraulic calculations and equipment selection. 9. Coordinating with local fire departments and building officials during the design and installation process.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in fire protection systems design, specifically in the construction industry. 2. Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. 3. Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant design tools. 4. Strong understanding of fire protection standards and building codes. 5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically. 6. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams. 7. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. 8. Professional certification in fire protection design (e.g., Certified Fire Protection Specialist) is highly desirable. 9. Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality. 10. Capable of conducting site inspections and comfortable working in a variety of construction environments.
