In this key position, you will apply your full-stack engineering skills, computational design skills, synthetic multimedia production, and human-centered design skills to prototype and deploy agentic applications that help Pearson experts across all internal business functions do their work with agents at their side.

What You’ll Do
- Champion Agentic Engineering
- Drive the state of the art of agent-powered software engineering from prototype to production
- Rapidly engineer full-stack agent-ready applications, standalone agents, and agentic systems
- Develop Agentic Apps for Work
- Be the lead AI Engineer within AgentOps for custom agentic apps, tools, and systems
- Work as part of a rapidly moving team of agentic architects, UX prototyper, and engineers
- Raise the Bar of the Possible
- Stay ahead of the latest agentic AI technologies, tools, processes, and workflows
- Pilot emerging AI tools for research, design, prototyping, engineering, and media creation
- Educate and Evangelize
- Inspire and educate engineering teams across the company with the agentic art of the possible
- Facilitate workshops, hackathons, and masterclasses to drive adoption of agentic engineering
Who You Are
- A passionate super-generalist, a mix of design & engineering, art & science
- A curious tinkerer, prototyper, and builder with a portfolio of innovative projects
- An engineer with a sense of taste for great design and a technical artist who loves to code
- A creative storyteller and multimedia expert who can tell stories through synthetic media
- An opinionated expert with experience developing for AI, XR, mobile, web, wearables
- An entrepreneurial “builder” who gets things done without supervision
- 5+ years of experience in service design, UX/UI design, or product design
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack software development
- A portfolio of cutting-edge projects: professional, personal, and passion projects
- Expertise with React, Python, APIs, and LLMs
- Expertise with developing agents with no-code, low-code tools such as n8n or similar
- Expertise with developing agents using common frameworks (LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen)
- Proven experience developing products with a variety of interfaces: voice, touch, XR
- Proficiency with vibe-coding tools (e.g., Lovable) and AI-powered IDEs (e.g., Cursor)

The minimum full-time salary range is between $150,000 - $180,000. This position is eligible to participate in an annual incentive program.
