Deka Lash FL - Hodges is hiring: Lash Artist in Jacksonville

Deka Lash in Northeast Florida is seeking a talented lash artist to join our team at the Hodges Blvd location. If you're looking for an opportunity to build on your current lashing experience or switch your focus to lashing and brows, this is the perfect chance. We offer a positive environment with lots of support from management and fellow lash artists.

Qualified candidates must have a current cosmetology or esthetician license. Eyelash certification is a plus. We're looking for individuals with a positive attitude and lash extension skills. If you're new to lashing, don't worry - we offer an extensive training program for those with the proper licensing.

Our lash artists earn an hourly wage plus commission on product sales, services provided, and memberships sold. You'll have the opportunity to grow your skills and career with Deka Lash, including learning brow lamination and brow sugaring after mastering your lash techniques.

Main Responsibilities:

• Lash artistry and tinting
• Sales of products and services to clients
• Checking clients in and out
• Providing world-class service to customers

Other Responsibilities:

• Learning lash application techniques specific to Deka Lash
• Marketing your skills in the community and promoting Deka Lash
• Booking lash models during the training period
• Discussing lash membership and product options with clients and maintaining monthly sales goals
• Monitoring your client book and being prompt and present for appointments
• Being available to work weekends and evenings
• Participating in studio cleaning activities
• Continuously developing and perfecting your skills
• Consulting and designing appropriate lash designs based on client preferences and needs
• Being knowledgeable about Deka Lash retail products to promote and educate clients on home care for their eyelash extensions
• Providing frequent education and recommendations to clients with a friendly and helpful attitude

Compensation: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
