We are seeking an Part-Time AV Technician to join our team at Black Desert Resort in Ivins, UT.

What Will You Be Doing?

  • Set up, operate, and strike audio-visual equipment, maintaining an up-to-date inventory
  • Ensure timely completion of equipment orders and inventory tracking
  • Operate AV equipment with a solid understanding of signal flow and specifications
  • Identify equipment shortages and offer substitutions during prep
  • Maintain communication with management throughout projects
  • Follow strict guidelines and timelines
  • Represent INSPIRE professionally, adhering to grooming and attire standards
  • Foster positive relationships with clients and hotel staff
  • Driving a box truck to offsite storage to load and unload AV gear.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, contributing ideas
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Perform additional tasks assigned

What Do You Need?

  • Proven experience with audio-visual technology
    • Candidates with 2 plus years of experience will be given preference
    • Candidates with video, camera work and recording will be given preference
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
    • Candidates with hospitality experience will be given preference
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Awesome to have extensive lighting, audio and video experience.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to lead and collaborate effectively
  • Highly organized, team-oriented, and a strong communicator
  • Willingness to work long hours, including holidays, with flexibility
  • Adaptable to changing environments
