Job Summary
Our Design team is the creative engine behind our brand's commitment to delivering authentic, trend-forward, and high-quality product for all of our partnerships. As the Creative Director, you will report directly to the SVP of Design and serve as a key liaison between the client's team and the internal design team. You will lead the creative direction for future seasons, ensuring all product aligns with the brand voice while pushing trend boundaries in print, pattern, graphics, and design. This role requires a visionary leader with a deep understanding of the customer, a sharp eye for product, and the ability to inspire and guide cross-functional teams.
What Will You Be Doing?
- Setting the creative tone and direction for the seasonal collections.
- Translating seasonal direction from the team into actionable design strategies
- Directing the team on brand-right print, pattern, graphics, and overall design execution.
- Ensuring all product reflects the brand handwriting and resonates with the customer.
- Collaborating cross-functionally to align on seasonal concepts, trends, and execution.
- Presenting seasonal concepts and product direction to senior leadership
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design or a related field, with 10+ years of hands-on experience in Design or a related field.
- Deep understanding of both design and production processes.
- Ability to translate macro and micro trends into brand-right product for the customer.
- Elevated taste level and strong aesthetic aligned with the brand's handwriting.
- Extensive knowledge of fabrics, fits, and construction methods.
- Proficiency in design software, including Adobe Creative Suite.
- Passion for understanding and designing for the customer.
- Ability to create product that is both trend-relevant and commercially viable.
- Confident and compelling communicator with strong storytelling abilities.
- Ability to present ideas clearly and authentically to inspire cross-functional teams.
