The Division of Student Affairs comprises over 30 departments, each responsible for providing various student support, services, and educational programs accessible to the university community. Job Duties
The Temporary Event Planner will support conferences, meetings, and special events coordinated through the Central Reservations Office, focusing on full-service event planning, execution, and customer support while ensuring compliance with university policies. Serve as the primary contact for faculty and staff planning on-campus events. Coordinate and confirm space reservations through 25Live, schedule and lead planning meetings with event organizers, and manage event logistics including catering, audiovisual, security, facilities, parking, permits, and other resource needs. Create and review event diagrams to ensure accurate set-ups. Provide on-site event support, troubleshooting issues and ensuring smooth execution. Collaborate with campus partners (Police, Parking, Grounds, EH&S, Facilities, etc.) to align services. Communicate regularly and professionally with CRO staff and student employees to support operations. Assist CRO leadership with projects and additional assigned duties.
Minimum Education/Experience
Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions
