Overview
We are looking for a Junior Product Designer with UI and UX Design Experience for our client in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This is a contract position through the end of the year 2025 with the possibility of extension. This is an on-site role.
Responsibilities
- Support Agile Product Teams in delivering world-class software experiences, ranging from native iOS apps to responsive web experiences.
- Collaborate with the Digital Product and Experience Design (DXD) team, including both agency resources and internal UI/UX professionals located in Michigan, California, Singapore and around the globe.
- Work with designers to review designs and co-create, translating user needs into design solutions.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in UX/UI Design.
- Experience providing UX deliverables to Agile Product Teams with support from other Designers or Design Leads, including wireframes, user flows, journey maps.
- Ability to create low-fidelity mockups, high-fidelity visual designs, and interactive prototypes.
- Proficiency in at least one product design tool (Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, etc.). Figma is listed as the tool of choice.
- Comfortable working with a design team to review designs and co-create.
- Passion for learning and growing design skillset.

- Ability to interpret business needs and user data into actionable experience changes.
- Ability to create wireframes, design layouts, and design components.
- Continued education and research into UX trends and current design strategy and technologies.
- Ability to analyze experience performance and determine design optimizations.
