Colorado State University is hiring: 25 Assistant Video Producer in Fort Collins

Colorado State University is seeking an Assistant Video Producer to work collaboratively with the CSU Learning Design & Educational Solutions Team to build exceptional online educational experiences for students.

Position Summary: The successful candidate will possess an in-depth understanding of producing informational and educational film and will be expected to become familiar with systems that support online course delivery.

Required Job Qualifications:

• Completed bachelor’s degree in journalism, television production, public relations, marketing, communications or closely related field.
• 1 year of experience in digital media production, including planning, shooting, and editing informational or educational film.
• Demonstrated experience in video recording techniques, hardware and software tools, and implementing media into web-based instructional materials.

Preferred Job Qualifications:

• Awareness of the importance of and the ability to produce video that is accessible.
• Experience with processes relevant to the development of media in a higher education environment.
• Familiarity with copyright compliance and fair use.
• Demonstrated experience successfully working with university faculty and staff.
• Excellent writing and interpersonal communication skills.

Essential Duties: Manage complete multimedia production projects, plan and edit instructional video, implement media into web-based materials, and ensure accessibility compliance.
