Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Full Stack Developer to support a Global Trading team within a fast-paced energy trading environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience across both front-end and back-end development and a proven ability to build scalable, high-performance applications. You will work closely with a Quantitative Analytics group to develop data products, models, and visualizations that directly support trading operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full stack web applications using modern frameworks and technologies
• Collaborate with quantitative analysts and internal stakeholders to build data products and visual tools
• Ensure code quality, reusability, and automation best practices
• Contribute to the design and optimization of scalable, high-performance solutions

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular
• Strong back-end development skills using Node.js, Python, or similar
• Experience working with databases such as SQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
• Familiarity with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong analytical thinking and adaptability to evolving priorities
• Ability to manage workloads under time pressure

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of market data, trading systems, or financial instruments
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Certifications in relevant technologies or methodologies
• Proven experience building and supporting data pipelines and performant databases
• Strong proficiency in SQL, data modeling, indexing, and query optimization
• Experience with Databricks and Snowflake
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python preferred)
• Experience with front-end frameworks/libraries (React preferred)
• Full-stack development experience with familiarity across database systems
