We are one of the fastest growing toy and collectibles company, and we are looking to expand our design team by adding on an additional talented Sr. Plush Designer. To be successful in this position, you must be disciplined and self-motivated, provide excellent creative ideas in line with current trends, show significant attention to detail, and work well with a dynamic team.

This role is based in Los Angeles and is a hybrid position with three days onsite in the office.

NOTE: Candidates that do not provide a portfolio, will not be considered.

7+ years of experience in plush design, patterns, and/or related disciplines Lead the end-to-end design process for plush toys, including concept sketches, technical drawings, prototypes, and final specifications Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across different time zones, including product development, marketing, and sourcing, to bring designs to market. Research and apply industry trends, consumer insights, and competitive analysis to ensure designs are both innovative and commercially viable. Oversee material selection, color, texture, and finishing to ensure quality, safety, and cost targets are met. Mentor and guide junior designers, providing creative direction and feedback. Partner with overseas vendors and factories to refine samples and resolve design or production challenges. Maintain a strong knowledge of toy safety regulations and compliance requirements. Experience communicating with overseas factories for product development Strong visual, analytical, and creative eye/aesthetic Extremely organized, particularly with digital file and record-keeping Plush and fashion dolls design from concept to product creation Photography for submission sheets, commentary, overlays for factories and partners Communicate with partners and brand owners surrounding design and development Manage product development timelines, milestones, and deliverable dates Daily communication with internal and external teams regarding product development and project management statuses Assist in designing packaging, including graphic layout, and basic die-line construction Maintain the visual aesthetics of internal and external brands Other hands-on design duties as may be required to create and produce products Full-time workload (minimum 40 hours per week) Must be a good fit for our company's culture and work environment Compensation commensurate with skill and experience
