Responsibilities
Conceptualize, design, and produce compelling digital assets-including graphics, motion graphics, animations, video edits, and multimedia content-for social platforms such as YouTube, PMAX, Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, and Reddit. Strong motion graphics and video editing skills are essential.
Leverage in-depth knowledge of emerging social platforms and tools to create content optimized for each channel.
Ensure all visuals, messaging, and interactive elements align with brand standards and the creative vision of each Condé Nast property.
Apply strategic thinking and sound design principles to deliver innovative, high-performing creative that drives consumer revenue growth.
Collaborate closely with Creative Directors, Senior Designers, Marketing Strategists, and Project Managers to incorporate data-driven insights, optimize creative performance, and make recommendations for iteration.
Maintain proactive communication with the Project Management team, providing regular updates on project progress and timelines.
Stay informed on industry trends, best practices, and the competitive landscape to continuously improve creative output.
Organize and manage raw and finished media assets, ensuring proper storage, backup, and accessibility for internal and external stakeholders.
Required Experience & Skills
4-6 years of professional design experience with a strong focus on social media campaigns; consumer-focused or revenue-driven backgrounds (marketing, advertising, e-commerce) preferred. Expertise in paid media creative best practices across Meta, TikTok, PMAX, YouTube, Pinterest, and Reddit. A portfolio showcasing diverse, high-quality creative work that demonstrates innovation, strong design skills, and measurable engagement impact. Solid understanding of design principles, including typography, color theory, and user experience (UX). Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to clearly present ideas and work seamlessly within cross-functional teams. Highly detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining consistency, quality, and adherence to brand guidelines. Strong organizational and time management abilities; capable of prioritizing multiple projects and meeting deadlines. Proactive, adaptable, and eager to embrace new tools, technologies, and design approaches. Desired: familiarity with ADA-compliant design. Proficiency in motion graphics, animation, UX/UI fundamentals, basic HTML, and social media principles. Advanced skills in design software, including Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects; plus working knowledge of G Suite and project management tools.
