As a Local Marketing Specialist, you will execute strategies that drive patient acquisition, awareness, and retention for our pediatric dental clinics. Your focus will be on outreach to Medicaid families, promoting pediatric hygiene and orthodontic services. You will develop and implement community-focused campaigns across multiple channels, partner with clinic teams and external groups to build trust and brand visibility, and conduct competitive analysis to identify local market opportunities and threats. In addition, you will collaborate with the website agency to ensure localized website updates and a strong online presence. This role is key to increasing awareness of our services and fostering long-term patient relationships. Responsibilities: Community Engagement
: Build relationships with local organizations, schools, and community groups to raise awareness about our pediatric dental services, particularly hygiene and orthodontics. Content Creation
: Develop and execute content strategies, including educational materials, brochures, posters, and newsletters, to educate local families about pediatric dental care. Event Planning & Promotion
: Plan and coordinate local events, health fairs, and dental outreach programs to engage with families, schools, and pediatricians. Referral Program Development
: Create and promote referral programs with local pediatricians, schools, and existing patients to drive word-of-mouth marketing. Market Research
: Conduct market research to understand the needs and preferences of local Medicaid families, ensuring marketing strategies align with their expectations. Competitive Analysis
: Analyze local competitors, including other pediatric dental clinics and dental service providers that focus on Medicaid patients. Identify their strengths, weaknesses, and marketing strategies to uncover opportunities for differentiation and growth. Use competitive insights to refine our marketing and business strategies. Performance Analysis
: Track and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, adjusting strategies based on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as new patient appointments and retention rates. Budget Management
: Work with clinic management to develop and manage a local marketing budget, ensuring the efficient use of resources for maximum impact. Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree Preferred
in
Communication, Marketing, Journalism or related field Experience
: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in local marketing, preferably in healthcare, pediatric services, or Medicaid-focused programs. Competitive Intelligence
: Ability to gather and analyze competitive data to inform marketing decisions and drive strategic direction. Communication
: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling and clear messaging tailored to a diverse audience. Creativity
: Ability to develop creative marketing campaigns that resonate with families and communities. Analytical Skills
: Strong ability to analyze data and adjust strategies to maximize campaign effectiveness. Project Management
: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Local Knowledge
: Familiarity with the local market, including the needs of Medicaid families and pediatric healthcare providers. Team Player
: Ability to collaborate effectively with clinic staff, management, and external partners. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in pediatric dental marketing or healthcare marketing, especially with a focus on Medicaid patients. Familiarity with local health systems and outreach programs for underserved communities.
