Multitech Publication Services is hiring: Parts Catalog Writer / CAD Technical I

Do you have an interest in mechanics and parts knowledge? Are you interested in creating exploded parts illustrations or drawing parts from scratch? Do you have skills and CAD package experience with AutoCAD, Creo Parametric Solid works, and IsoDraw?

We are currently looking to hire someone as a ‘Parts Catalog Writer & Technical Illustrator’. This position will be responsible for researching and writing mechanical parts catalogs as well as assisting with all technical illustrations and CAD based renderings as needed.

In this position the successful candidate will use client supplied technical information to create / update
equipment parts catalogs which will include researching technical data, analyzing information, writing
and mark-up of books & illustrations for change.

The desired candidate will also have various CAD package experience (i.e. AutoCAD, Creo Parametric,
Solid Works, and IsoDraw) and be able to draw in 2D isometric orientations, as well as have experience
working with CAD renderings and graphics programs such as Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator.
Job Requirements:

• Computer skills
• Mechanical knowledge and/or mechanical background
• Organizational skills
• Attention to detail
• Experience with CAD based software Creo Parametric, AutoCAD, Solid Works

The successful candidate should be responsible and self-motivated and must work well in a team
environment.

This will be an FT Position, with daytime hours.
