Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation and lifecycle management of AV systems including video conferencing, projection, display, control systems, and sound reinforcement—supporting operational continuity in secure and dynamic environments.
  • Collaborate with system administrators, facilities teams, and stakeholders to plan AV upgrades, resolve technical issues, and ensure alignment with user needs, room configurations, and mission goals.
  • Drive innovation in system design and problem resolution by applying best practices in AV engineering, integrating emerging technologies, and delivering reliable solutions under tight timelines.
  • Utilize platforms and tools such as Crestron, AMX, Extron, Cisco TelePresence, and AV-over-IP; implement AV control programming, network integration, and ensure system interoperability in classified and unclassified environments.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Audio Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in AV engineering, integration, or support—preferably in secure, government, or enterprise environments.
  • Technical skills: Crestron/AMX programming, Extron systems, Cisco Webex/TelePresence, AV-over-IP technologies, control system design, signal flow analysis, system schematics, and rack building.
  • Security clearance level: TS/SCI
  • US citizenship required
  • Role requirements: On-site role with occasional travel to support installations, testing, and troubleshooting (~10-15%). Experience with secure AV systems in government or DoD environments strongly preferred.
