Job Title: Community Manager (Affordable)
Location: This role will be based out of an office in East Portland, and will require occasional travel to a few properties near here in Portland.
Employment Type: 5-Month Contract (Potential to Extend)
Schedule: Part-Time, 3 Days per Week, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Range: $28–$32 per hour, Depending on Experience
Position Overview:
LHH Recruitment is seeking a highly organized and service-oriented Community Manager to support a Portfolio Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations across a residential portfolio. This part-time contract role is ideal for someone with strong leasing and compliance experience, particularly within LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with leasing activities, including resident communication and application processing.
- Ensure compliance with LIHTC regulations and maintain accurate documentation.
- Support operational tasks including updating a recent backlog of records and reports.
- Provide exceptional resident care and respond to inquiries and concerns.
- Coordinate with buyers, brokers, and internal teams to schedule unit access and support sales efforts.
- Maintain and update property management systems and records.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Community Manager; LIHTC experience is required.
- Experience with property management systems such as Yardi, TenantTech, or similar platforms preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Pay Details: $28.00 to $32.00 per hour
