Description

Bantam Communications is seeking a highly skilled Social Media Content Creator to join our team on an ongoing, hourly basis. This role is focused on producing and publishing high-quality, engaging content across multiple client accounts in the renewable energy sector.

The ideal candidate is a versatile creator who can design visually compelling content (GIFs, videos, motion graphics, static images), write strong supporting copy, and manage recurring monthly deliverables with precision and creativity.

Scope of Work & Services

• Create 4–6 social media posts per client each month on a recurring basis for approximately 15 clients.
• Design static and motion graphics content using Canva and create advanced visual assets (GIFs, videos, etc.) as needed.
• Write clear, compelling, and on-brand copy to accompany graphics.
• Upload, schedule, and organize content using HeyOrca for client review and publishing.
• Ensure all content is tailored to renewable energy.
• Maintain consistent branding, messaging, and tone across content.
• Collaborate with internal team members to refine creative direction and strategy.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in social media, content formats, and creative best practices.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in social media content creation or management.
• Demonstrated ability to produce GIFs, videos, motion, and static graphics.
• Proficiency in Canva for content creation.
• Strong copywriting skills with the ability to adapt tone and messaging to different client voices.
• Experience managing recurring content schedules for multiple clients simultaneously.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Portfolio showcasing examples of social media posts and campaigns.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with HeyOrca or similar scheduling tools.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects).
• Experience creating content for industries such as renewable energy, issue advocacy, political, or rural-focused campaigns.
• Familiarity with paid social campaigns and audience engagement strategies.
• Strong reporting and analytical skills to assess performance metrics and adapt content based on high and low performance.

This role is open to US-based independent contractors who are authorized to work in the United States.
