Content Creator – College Search App Job at Nichols College in Cleveland

Loper is a free app designed to make the college search and application process easier and more fun. Students use Loper to explore college life, find schools that match their interests, build a list they’re excited about, and manage every step of the application journey.

Job Overview

We are looking for Content Creators to help build and promote Loper on social media. If you spend way too much time online, always know the latest trends, and can creatively tie them back to our app, we want you on our team! This role is a chance to not just post content, but to inspire other students and shape how they discover colleges.

Please note, while the role is remote, we are currently only accepting applicants based in the US.

Responsibilities

• Learn the ins and outs of the Loper app (features, benefits, etc.) and explain them in a way that feels exciting and relatable to high school students
• Film, edit, and post 1 short-form video per day to a TikTok & Instagram account
• Some videos may be assigned with specific visual direction, scripts, etc. but creators may also be asked to come up with their own video ideas using trending audios or other viral product videos as inspiration
• Each video should take fewer than 30 minutes to create

Requirements

• A US-based high school or college student
• Very comfortable on camera – you will be featured in every video you create!
• Must create your own Instagram and TikTok accounts to post from
• Have access to a 2nd phone to occasionally film the mobile app with (whether through a parent, friend, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience creating content for other brands
• Strong understanding of the college application process in the US

Compensation

• $350-$500 per month guaranteed for meeting content expectations (base compensation will be determined based on content creation experience)
• Earn up to $500 extra per month based on video performance and user growth impact.
• Initial contract will be for one month, with the opportunity to continue if there is interest on both sides.
